Neither of these games are made by Sony, so actually legacy platform is totally accurate. People still make Dreamcast games (look it up) but that's a legacy platform.
"Sony has already clarified that."
No, they desperately cobbled together an excuse despite "legacy platform" almost never being used in that way, by anyone, ever. There's a new PS4 model coming out, so will the original model become a "legacy platform"? That's not what platform means in this capacity. Sony were just blatantly caught out and came up with a specious justification.
But more to the point, this is a list of gr...
Heh, both in one list. "Quality over quantity" is right.
Amazing games though. Glad I own both systems, the 3DS especially. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is amazing!
@bggriffiths: game. 100% game. Game.
If you watch the anime you'll get a lot of repetition, though a lot of the narration and internal monologue gives a new perspective on it.
Do it. The anime is well-produced, but actually making decisions yourself and seeing how they affect the endings is really powerful.
Hate to be pedantic, but the video is 14:55 long. Calling it a "full 16 minute" demo is a bit... wrong. Weird slip.
Awesome though, so don't care.
Yup, it's as simple as that. Activision just going where the money/customer base is - it's simple business.
"I still find it funny that some people think that Microsoft chose to let this go. As if they had a choice."
Yeah, for sure. It's not as if MS would have had much say in the matter beyond cutting a cheque - which probably would have been infeasible for everyone involved.
It's an interesting move. All of my fondest memories of Halo are in local co-op, especially when my brother played through Halo 2 with me to help me out of a really bad breakup depression. It became a tradition - the gaming sessions, not the breakups thankfully! - and it's something I'll miss intently.
BUT... that's nostalgia talking. These days I play almost exclusively online. My old friends, housemates and family are spread across the country and I almost n...
True, fair enough. Can't imagine UC without Drake though, perhaps ND might make TLOU their main franchise after UC4?
After all this time, yeah, I kinda did actually. Expected it to feel like a special edition even with the limited content, not a really really pushy trial.
Glad to hear it! I was pretty miffed at how hard it pushes for a sale, but the gameplay's solid and the graphics... oh gawd... the graphics...
Fingers crossed that UC keeps its rip-roaring tone but gets a little bit of an edge since it's the last in the series.
Given the downswing in the JP console market, I'm not sure that's entirely true.
Xbox has always been a very niche system in Japan. The X360 has some hardcore cred amongst some gamers, but nowhere near enough to be commercially successful. Coupled with the console market bottoming out in favour of mobile gaming, MS are probably right to ignore the region and let a die-hard few import if they really want one.
Wonder if Arkham Knight and DriveClub is putting an adverse amount of stress on PSN in some regions? Arkham Knight's PS4 version has (rightfully) received rave coverage and must be getting some serious downloads and I'm sure loads of people are grabbing DriveClub.
@IRetrouk: I feel you, that 15GB patch took the best part of a day and a half.
Haha, heard it's pretty shocking! That said, the article has loads of tweets from affected gamers - 45-90 hours per 10GB!
Pretty sure this is a placeholder.
If it doesn't have Atomic Batteries and Turbines, it ain't a Batmobile!
Joking, but I've never really been a fan of the 'tank' style batmobile. Much prefer the sleeker car designs, such as the amazing underlit Forever version.
Awesome, that'll keep you going for a while! Very different, but brilliant in the own way. Steins;Gate is legendary while Oreshika is one of the most unique JRPGs I've ever played.
